The Sea of Cortez is a diver’s paradise. With its unique ecosystem and the overall natural beauty, it has earned a UNESCO World Heritage Site status. We have been diving here for almost a decade and every time it has been exciting! Come see firsthand why this sea is called the “Aquarium of the World” and all of its’ natural wonders.
Meet playful sea lions, surround yourself in a tornado of big eye jacks and schools of skipjacks. Don’t forget the huge pods of dolphins, turtles, mobulas, sperm whales, gobies, hammerhead sharks, whales of all types and descriptions, shipwrecks, beach and night dives. And if you’re lucky, giant mantas swimming around in the sea and orcas.

The diving was customized to exactly meet our diving preferences and fish photographing objectives. You and your dive team crafted a 9 day dive plan to visit the specific habitats we were looking for, allowed us to dive for as long as we liked, helped us look for the cryptic fish species on our target list, and provided nitrox for all dives. We took over 1700 images, extended the known range on at least 1 fish species (Hornyhead turbot), and greatly expanded the number of live, in-situ images on many fish species found in the Sea of Cortez. Images will be included in the next update of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute’s: Fishes of the Eastern Pacific. We thank you for supporting our project to photograph the fish species found in the Sea of Cortez.
The dining here surpassed all our expectations! You provided gourmet meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was always a treat to see what was on the menu for each meal, and it all tasted fantastic. I can’t thank you enough for accommodating our dietary preferences (vegan & food allergies)! The food at exceeded what we’ve experienced on the most exclusive live-aboards. The daily menu makes it a destination of its own 🙂 Even with all the diving, we gained weight! I can heartily recommend them to divers looking for a customized diving and dining experience.

Snorkel and Explore a Private Beach
How about a day of snorkeling, swimming with the sea lions maybe? What about the whale sharks (in season, of course)? The beaches of La Paz are stunning – we’ll do lunch and you can spend your day in and out of the water.
SNORKELING - LUNCH -BEACH, FULL DAY
Includes lunch and all gear. This is a PRIVATE CHARTER and available for up to 6 persons for the same price.

Dive Accommodations Included
PRIVATE BEDROOMS AND BATHS
Our diving partner offers two private room and bath accommodations. Each room is for two guests per stay. Each room has views of the city and the Sea of Cortez harbor.
Wi-Fi is also available for our guests.
GOURMENT MEALS
Your all-inclusive package includes daily gourmet breakfast and dinner and lunch on the boat. Specially designed desserts daily for you to enjoy as well.
INCREDIBLE BAJA DIVING
Whether you are a beginner diver or an old pro, free PADI-certified diving instruction is included at no additional cost! From Open Water to Master level. Daily two tank dives with Richard or one of his experienced captains on the Rum Runner.
“Scuba Pro” rental equipment is available on site for $100 USD/week per person. This includes one 3 mm wetsuit, BCD, regulator with computer, boots, fins, and a mask with snorkel if needed.
For Snorklers only: Free mask, snorkel, fins and boots for their use at the Inn.
COCKTAILS
Enjoy complimentary wine, beer and spirits with our diving partner. Enjoy your specialty beverage or cocktail while relaxing on the second floor veranda or the third floor tequila bar!
RELAX IN THE POOL
After a great day diving, come and relax and unwind by the pool and enjoy a complimentary drink at our diving partner’s poolside bar.
